Injuries or Banned or Suspended

How do I know if my player is injured and for how long?

Players who are injured have a red cross icon on their profile. There are two types of injury, unavailable (red) injuries which as the name suggests means the player can\’t play in any matches and recovering (orange) injuries, where the player can be played in matches with a slight risk of getting a further injury or extending their injury time.

The length of all you players injuries can be seen by going to Club House>>Players>>Inj.Susp.

How do I find out if my player is suspended?

Go to Club House>>Players>>Inj.Susp.
There you will find the information about all your players suspensions, which competition they are suspended for and for how long.
Why doesn\\\’t my player succeed, he has great attributes? I have players with lower attributes that perform better? First of all make sure the player has good form if he does then there are several factors that matter. Maybe you played your player in the wrong position on the pitch or you played tactics which didn\’t suit the player\’s skills. It may be that you were simply playing against a much better team or a team with a good player, which made your player perform worse than normal. Finally it may just be chance given the number of matches some teams play there are always going to be unexpectedly poor performances by some players in some games.

My player got suspended in div. 5 and I have been promoted. Will he be able to play in div. 4?

No, the suspension follows the player regardless of whether the team has advanced or the player has traded clubs.Important Note!Players who are suspended in a different division will NOT be shown under the Club House>> Standings>>Inj.Susp. To find out if a player is suspended go to Club House>>Players>>Inj.Susp.

What is an unavailable injury?

The player cannot train or take part in any matches. An unavailable injury is sometimes then followed by a recovering injury as well.

What is a recovering injury?

This means that the player is injured and while they can play in matches there is a greater risk that they will get a further injury.

What types of injury are there?

There are many different types from a thigh muscle strain to a broken arm. The severity and length of the injury is tied partly to the type of injury sustained. Usually a muscle strain will clear in a couple of days but a broken bone can take several weeks.

How do I know if one of my players is injured?

Is there a big risk of long-term injuries?

No, definitely not. Long-term injuries occur in 0.125% of the games.

Go to Club House -> Players -> Inj.Susp.

There are two phases in the injury process. If the injury isn’t bad then your player may have skip the first phase.

The first phase is Unavailable – When a player is in this phase he cannot play.If you go on that tactic screen you will see that you cannot put him on the pitch.

The second phase is Recovering – In this phase the player is available to play but is recovering from his injuries. Consequently you can put him back on the pitch although there is a risk that he will further injure himself.

Note however, injuries that occur in a friendly league game are not persistent. At the worse the player is injured in that one match.

Can Goalies get injured?

No, they currently cant.

What’s the chances of getting a long term injury?

The chances of getting a long term injury is small: 0.125%.  A long term injury could be at long at 90+ days.

[fab] Info from biggreenshoe – this may have been halved after the introduction of two league matches a week

Red cards – what’s their effect?

If a player receives a Red card in a league or friendly league game, he cannot play the next match in the same league. A Red card in one league does not effect a players ability to play in another league. This is true for league, friendly league and cup matches.

A Red card in a friendly game has no consequence other than loosing the player for that match.
A Red card is persistent between leagues so if a player gets a Red card in the last game of the league, he wont be able able to play in the first game on of the new season. (this is normal league games not friendly leagues) (thanks to rrgriola for noticing this)

Yellow cards – what’s their effect ?

If a player gets two yellow cards in a row in separate games, they will be suspended for the next match. As the rule with Red cards, it only effects the league you are in. If you get two yellow cards in the same game then the player will be sent off but will be able to play next game.

What is the purpose of the Selected/ Not Selected option in the list of players ?

If a player has been set to “Not Selected” he will not appear in the tactic window. You may want to do this when:

– You have players that are going to be transferred out of your club and you can double check that they are not on the pitch in the tactic screen

– You have players you want to rest and you can check that they are not on the pitch in the tactic screen.

If you deselect a player that is on the tactic screen and do not replace him (change the tactic), he will play again in that tactic. Until the tactic is saved again, that player will keep playing, he is just invisible.
